At Crowle C of E First School we have high aspirations for all our pupils including those identified as SEND. Our inclusive school ensures that all pupils have access to a wide and varied curriculum fully supported by an expanding range of extra curricular activities. We have a 'can do' approach when faced with challenges and this positive attitude translates to the children.
Last year one of our pupils demonstrated his resilience in the face of barriers to learning winning a prestigious Generation CAN award for progress made in writing and verbal communication. His achievement was fantastic for him and his family but their biggest delight was the pride they witnessed in his teachers and peers when the awards were announced. This year Jack enlisted one of his friends to present his experiences to help raise money for this years award ceremony. A fantastic £100 was raised through a non-uniform event.
Take a look at the fantastic work of Generation Can here. This years nominations close on the 6th May 2019. They are keen to receive nominations for our health and social care colleagues.
