Our school is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and people and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined as: protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead Officer is Mrs M Abbott and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Miss L Johnson and Mrs S Dixon. If you see or hear anything that makes your feel uncomfortable whilst at Crowle First School, please ensure it you report it to either of us immediately.
The Designated Teacher to support Looked After Children or Previously Looked After Children is Mrs M Abbott.
