We proactively put in place arrangements to meet the needs of our pupils who have medical conditions that impact on their day to day life.
Pupil's with conditions such diabetes, cystic fibrosis, allergies, asthma will have individual health care plans (IHCP) that will outline the specific level of support to meet individual needs. We have close working relationships with our colleagues in health who will have input into the IHCP. We also call upon them for support when our staff need specific training around a managing a medical condition at school.
All the adults at Crowle have annual EpiPen training. There are 5 members of staff with paediatric first hand training.
